I'm the City Manager for the City of Grand Rapids. I'm the CEO and administrator for all municipal services, and principally responsible for preparing the budget.

I'm a music lover and I enjoy art as a form of expression and communication. I desire to see this City from many perspectives - what better way than through the many talented lenses in our community?

With that desire, I'd like to showcase the already amazing work that's going on through flickr. There's a whole synergy of people photographing our City. I want them to have many places where they can demonstrate their talent.
