I took up photography as a hobby to get a better balance between work and play. I love the outdoors and like to notice the beauty in small things. But as you can see I respond with awe to beautiful buildings, cities, art,....Photography helps me see and experience the world more intensely.

I grew up in Graz, Austria, but have been living in Los Angeles for 40 years, practically a native.

I do little post processing, mostly adjusting exposure and cropping.
