A 'would-be' nature photographer, who seems to have fallen in to Bird photography as a specialty. My home is Brisbane, Australia and I love this country with a passion. I am trying to keep my contact list to a maximum of 50....I just can't keep up with more, as I like to comment properly. I also feel that tying to 'post' every day (for me) is counter productive. I need time to be 'out there' taking the photos not sitting for hours at a computer. If I have not responded as a contact or have taken you off my list....I apologise but that's the way it is......I was drowning in contacts!!

Steve's Animal Portraits (No more until Spring!) says:

"I've only known Nikki for a short time, and it already feels like she's someone I've known forever. It takes an Aussie to know an Aussie, so her sentiments and comments usually go straight to the core. The humour is what I miss most of all about home, so KEEP IT COMIN' ! Nikki, you're one of a kind, and there aren't too many left I can say that about. You restore my faith in humanity, and for that alone I'm on my bended knees with gratitude (bugger.... now I can't get up; damned rheumatism!) A Canon 300mm f/2.8L is sitting here waiting to be delivered to it's new home in Brisbane when my wife & I visit Nikki & her friend in November, so expect even better shots to be added to her heart-warming collection in the future. Have a good one, mate, and take "Shelter". Stevo."

    Animalography says:

"Nikki is one of the first people I got to know on Flickr...and I feel privileged. Half my work is in wilderness areas, the other half is stuck in front of couple of computer screens, one of which usually has a tab to Flickr in the last couple of months. When Nikki posts a shot or leaves a comment, I get a real lift, because I know I am communicating with a good person! Her support and enthusiasm is also reflected in her photography which has a character quite unique, I can't put my finger on it. We share a love of the natural world and you can see it in her shots. Nik, to coin a good Aussie phrase "You're a champ!" .... and in my kiwi accent I also say "Nik, you're choice!"....check out her tiger shots everybody!"

    Flying Fin says:

"I've known Nikki in Flickr for a short while and yet I feel we've been friends for a long time ... such is her charisma and commitment to engaging me and others. She is a breath of fresh air in Flickr (and no doubt in person). I am glad to know her. And to see her move from strength to strength in her photography. Her dedication and eagerness is clear. And it will carry her far in the world of photography."

    Beth Crawford 65 says:

"Nikki is the kindest, funniest, most encouraging person I've met on Flickr. I love her passion for photography and her youthfulness. Her lovely photos have shown me some of the wonders of Australia, indoors and out. I owe her a big hug for keeping my dream alive, and hope that I can keep her's alive as well. Thanks Nikki!! (you're such a ripper)"
