Hi....my name is Gordon, I'm 28 years old and live in Loughborough (England / United Kingdom).



I purchased my first SLR, a Nikon D90 in March 09. The majority of my older shots on flickr were taken with a point and shoot Lumix DMC-FZ5 .

I've recently started a photography blog which I hope you like. It's early days but I'm hoping that the blog will compliment my Flickr activity as well as adding some additional content.

Most of my shots are taken free hand and I have only just recently started to play around with using a tripod.

I manage my recent shots in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 and also apply some editing in Photoshop CS4.

All comments positive/constructive are always appreciated.

I'm always interested to hear from any other photographers who live in Leicestershire (Loughborough in particular).

One my favourite photography quotes, which I always repeat to myself when I start getting caught up in wanting the latest kit is as follows:
