Subjects:
Things that take my fancy, usually old things that managed to survive to this day. Lots of cars, objects, buildings and details of buildings. Those are easy as they usually don't move about so much. The cars I photograph on the whole played some part in my life. In humans I like to photograph the male of the species.
For artistic, high quality photos you have to look somewhere else. I don't have the photographer's eye or the equipment for that.

My most popular photos show either half-naked people or cars. That tells you something about human nature.

The pictures are almost all taken by myself. The ones I didn't take myself are clearly marked. I've used the following camera's:
-Olympus Trip 35 (from the age of nine until 15) Nice camera as it needs no battery whatsoever.
-Canon T70 (from the age of 15 until 35. The motor transport has broken down)
-Logitech QuickCam Sphere (for pictures of myself)
-Canon AE-1 (bought it cheaply second hand)
lenses:
* Canon FD 50 mm F1.8
* Osawa 70-260 mm F4.5
* Tokina 25-50 mm F4.0

-HP Photosmart 735 (the camera at my work). After taking ten photographs, the batteries are depleted.)
-Nikon Coolpix 5700 (my own, bought it in 2006)
-Nikon D80 with 18-200 mm Nikkor zoom. Heavy compared to my other cameras. Broke down :-(
-CURRENT Nikon D90 with 18-200 Nikon lens.
-CURRENT Sony Ericsson K750i cameraphone 2 megapixels. A friend felt sorry for me that I had to use the Nokia 6131, so he gave me his old phone. Picture quality is better and the K750i has exif data. It does make a loud camera click sound, which cannot be switched off. The SonyEricsson is having problems with the display.
-Nokia 6131 cameraphone 1.3 megapixels. Quality is not so good.

And the pictures of Zürich were taken with a Kodak throw-away camera.

I use iPhoto on my Apple MacBook (vintage 2006) if the pictures need improving.

You can leave comments in all languages, but I understand only Dutch and English. German if it is not to slangy and simple French I can understand too.
