Presently I have 5 images represented by the National Geographic Stock website www.nationalgeographicstock.com/ngsimages/explore/explore...; and one featured in an Irish gallery on the Travel section of the main NG site.

Currently I have 41 images represented by Getty images which I am delighted about.

I graduated with a degree in Engineering and Management but in my heart of hearts Photography had and has a massive calling.

My first published piece was for an event in London in1996 called 'Houseworks' which was part of the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT). The resulting images were published in The Guardian, London Evening Standard, London Time Out. From that point on I knew I wanted photography as a career in some capacity.

I went on to do an MA which incorporated photography along with design, IT development and for many years I worked in various IT companies as a developer.

2009 I jumped head on to try and establish myself in the photographic world, I guess there could be better times than the worst recession Ireland has seen but thats life :)

My main passion within photography is Landscape. In August 2010 I have started a site dedicated to golf www.photographyforgolf.com

Joining Flickr recently has allowed me to access/view so many talented photographer's work and that fuels creativity in itself.

If i was to pick some images from my own Portfolio that I am most pleased with it would be the following, shooting a seascape on a full moon night was both exhilarating and spooky, shooting live music was a first for me and a privilege to stand next to experienced pros at the Electric Picnic festival 2009 and the Irish Castle shot; I visited that location countless times before getting the shot I wanted and that has earned some much needed cash!
The rare winter conditions also allowed a few rare "snowy" shots too.

I am a passionate music fan and love Irish,House,Soul, Blues but particularly Reggae. Fav albums are Cocoa Tea's "Tune In" and Gregory Isaacs " Night Nurse". Superb..
Single of the year for me in 2009 was the Wild Beasts "All The Kings Men". Amazing harmonies and rhythm.
