"I spent a month with Alex in a summer photo program at NYU. Alex eats a lot of fibrous foods. You can see his heart beat through his rib cage, and he was born with a dozen fingers. Other than that, he's totally normal. I love looking at his work because he sees things so much differently than I do, once we were walking through a park, and he kept stopping to take pictures of trees and rocks and I didn't understand why until I saw the final prints. He understands light incredibly well. He's probably one of the nicest gentlemanly men i know and I miss him THIS MUCH."
