Photography is a favorite hobby of mine. Although I have no training and really don't know much about the profession, I really enjoy trying to take the best pictures possible. I use a Canon PowerShot SD 1000 Digital Elph. It has 7.1 megapixels and I really like its zoom capabilities. It's not bad for taking short video clips either, and I often film snippets of concerts, sporting events, and definitely our Schnauzer with my Canon.

Most of the pictures that I have posted on Flickr are of our new puppy Schnauzer, Kaiser. We brought him into our home in early August 2008 after searching all over San Diego for the perfect dog.

However, having his picture taken is not one of his favorite things . Raising a puppy is certainly a lot of hard work, but it has been very rewarding.
