Goodwill - Southern Piedmont's photostream

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont operates 19 retail stores and has 33 total donation sites in seven counties in the Southern Piedmont region of North and South Carolina (Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Union, Cleveland, York and Lancaster Counties).

Proceeds from the sale of donated goods fund employment and training services for individuals facing barriers to employment such as lack of skills, experience or education. In 2007, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont provided more than 11,000 job training and employment services, placed more than 2,200 people into jobs and diverted more than 35 million pounds of goods from area landfills.
