"Goldmine Trash was originally founded in 2000 as Knockout Vintage Clothing; an EBay shop which specialized in rare gems from the 1890s-1950s such as beaded flapper dresses, 40s rayon sarongs and 50s designer frocks.

KVC was among the first crop of full-time web shops specializing in vintage. Clients included pinup sensation Bernie Dexter, curators at New York fashion houses, renown western wear collector Rockin' Ronnie Weiser, New York's Chelsea Girl vintage store (which supplied wardrobe to Sex and the City), Park Avenue socialites, and even Camille Shaheen Tunberg, daughter of legendary designer Alfred Shaheen and archivist of his work. Hollywood costumers and personal shoppers/assistants were regulars as well, outfitting the likes of singer Chris Isaac, burlesque star Dita von Teese and actress Jennifer Tilly.

An evolution in taste led to renaming ourselves Goldmine Trash. While continuing to stock older items, we now accommodate the best of all decades. Collectors, vintage lifestylists and trend enthusiasts alike love our inventory, which is 100% hand selected with the finest styles in mind.
