I feel the need to write a bit about myself because after "making contacts" with so many in the flickr community, it's time to officially meet. My name is Jennifer and I live in the small CT town of Middlefield. I am married to an amazing guy that makes the energizer bunny looks like he could use a new set of batteries. We met as rowers and now do marathons and Ironman races although he much more than me these days. I am a stay at home mom that is involved in more things than your average full time employee. I am very proud of a running program called Go Far that I have created for our school district that has given hundreds of kids the opportunity to exercise every day at recess time. I teach spinning class once a week which helps me have a great catalog of music. I am raising my two kids ages 7 and 9 which you will meet often in my flickr stream. My daughter Kate has become a great model for me knowing exactly how to pose for the many photos I take of her. Peter's boyish charm always seems to shine through in his many photos. Although I was a history and art major in college, it never led to a job I loved. I rediscovered my true love from high school...photography and I am trying to pursue it on a professional level. I am slowly gathering the equipment and the portfolio to do what I love. Because of me, the local library usually has all of the photography books checked out and many doors have been knocked on locally as I ask if I can photograph something I find interesting. One of my favorite things to do after I have taken some photos and gone for a run is to relax and download my most recent photos and start editing! I am so very appreciative of the flickr community for challenging me to become better at this craft, especially those in the group labeled "fun with kids". Hope you enjoy my sets. Often I use them as back-up storage so they are mixed with some good and some not so. I usually keep my favorites folder updated so I hope you enjoy.
