My photos and titles sometimes reflect my emotions and life in general. "A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know."

"I've not met George yet, but I hope to do so. His flickr stream is testament to a man of dedication. Some fabulous images, and I'm especially enjoying his low light images.
Every shot seems to be crafted. Thanks for being my contact."12th February, 2010

"Although he might not be aiming for the title of “teacher par excellance,” it is one of the ways I see gobayode’s work. With each image he shares on flickr, a lesson is embedded there that instructs with amazing artistic and technical skills-- if one is open to studying the lines, curves, composition, colors, the use of light, etc.—each image is a mini course on its own. But there are those who are teachers with the use of lectures and texts and well planned instructions. Then, there are those who are primarily artists; their work instructs on its own. Gobayode is both artist and teacher. His teachings are delivered via his art. No comment, no overt instruction is necessary. If you are receptive, just look at the art—again and again if necessary--and from it the inspired student can deconstruct the lessons therein.
I love gobayode’s eyes! His images exhilarate, liberate and raise the bar for me. Many times I am so inspired by one of his images that it becomes so lodged in my mind’s eye that I am on the lookout for such beauty on my streets, which are thousands of miles away. At other times, I am almost paralyzed by the beauty of an image he posts, so much so that I nearly shrink at the overwhelming thought of ever being able to produce anything in the same league. Fortunately, I don’t give up easily. When the temporary paralysis recedes, I pick myself up and return to my attempts at creative seeing, in hopes that I too will learn to see anew and capture the image with "gobayode-eyes."
Onward and Upward, gobayode!"16th March, 2009

"What can I say about George! I had the most fortunate pleasure and luck of meeting George at Salford Quays whilst he was doing a shoot with Austin. Since meeting George, he has somehow inspired me to improve my own personal photography as well as giving good feedback on how to take a better shot!
George has passion and dedication and this can be clearly seen through his photographic works. He has a great eye for spotting things and this can be shown in the way he tries to compose his images as well as giving "nice titles" to his work.
I am glad I have made a friend out of George."5th February, 2009

"An amazingly talented photographer with such a good eye. He composes his shots with such skill and care and has his own style, which makes it easy for me to spot his pics in my contacts page. He has a range of subjects, all of which he does well but watery landscapes and b&w shots are his real forte. It is always great to get his feedback on my own shots which he does so regularly."
