The Goathouse Refuge was founded by sculptor and potter Siglinda Scarpa as a cage-free refuge for homeless cats awaiting adoption. We are located near Pittsboro, North Carolina, in Chatham County, on a 16 acre farm (view map). Our cats are housed in a studio building and are free to roam among the artists, volunteers and visitors in a three-acre, cat-safe enclosure. We are open daily and love visitors, especially between 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please take a moment to join our Facebook page and Meet the Cats!
