During my first year in SL, I was seriously into photography - both displaying my RL work in various galleries, and shooting fun SL scenes that I found. I even managed to sell a few.

I'm moving on from that and on to a bigger and more enjoyable project... home building. My creations will be shown here.

    Texanna Schumann says:

"GM Nikolaidis and his wife Barb are some of my very good friends in Second Life. I met GM at Cae's Swept Away Gallery when we both had our work displayed there.

GM has been a wonderful friend and mentor. I was inspired with his show at the Max and did a little bit of photography for the event. Max even posted one of the general shots of the show on his blogsite.

GM has introduced me to some people who have given me oppportunities develop skills in my art photography. GM introduced me to Samba Beaumont, who in turn invited me to do an art show at St. Agnes Isle. At the time I did not know if I could do it, but GM said, "Please say 'yes,' and the rest is history. It was a beautiful outdoor setting and my first real art show. I met so many wonderful people there.

GM also introduced me to Jonah and Alexxa, who sponsor Twilight Peace exhibits. They came over to my home gallery and looked at some of my Real Life Photographs of rural churches and invited me to show at the Jewish History Museum at the Ir Shalom sim. It was wonderful to be at the reception and to meet so many people. Then they invited me to show my floral photography at the Belagio Hotel and had two receptions there. The last one in that series was at the Twilight Peace Museum at the Cetus Art district, and the two receptions there were wonderful. I have met so many people in the art world through these receptions. GM and Barb have been to just about every one of my shows, and I appreciate their support.

So I would have to say that GM Nikollaidis is a very good friend to know. He amazes me with his new adventures. He has done some amazing photography in Real Life and Second Life, and is building props for a project.

God bless you GM and Barb! I love you both and hope we will be friends for the rest of our days."

"How do you stand out in a room full of beautiful models? Easy. Your photographer is better than their photographers."
