I started taking pics when I was about 9 years old, mainly because I hated being photographed and I was also the only member of the family who could take a photograph without chopping people's heads off.

I then progressed through the usual Instamatic, cheapo Russian camera route to my first proper SLR - an Olympus OM10. We had a photography club at school and it was probably the only place at school where I actually learned something and showed any interest.

I've been digital for about 10 years now and never stopped taking pics and if I'm not taking pics then I'm usually messing about in photoshop.
