Martin is a self-taught photographer with a background in architectural design. Martin’s interest in photography started in high school where he originally learned photography by using a 35mm film camera.

Martin has a background in architectural design with over 14 years of experience in drawing plans for, designing, and developing apartments and offices. Martin prides himself on connecting his logical and artistic sides to produce thoughtprovoking work.

While the normal trend is to “over-shop” photos, Martin prefers instead to keep changes at a minimum and focus on alternate colors. Whether it’s black and white or cross processing techniques. Martin finds that the phrase “looking through rose colored glasses” has a more complex meaning. Life isn’t just about casting the world in a certain light. The light makes us pause because it takes our eyes an extra second to process the image. By changing an image just enough, we look at it more closely.
