I'm just a guy who FINALLY found time to play with the Canon Digital Rebel XT
that I bought in March 2006. (Working full-time while finishing up undergrad and graduate degrees put a few things on hold!)

As you may see, I've found that I most like to capture the mundane, ordinary, or the unappreciated things around me. I also take a LOT of photos. I don't see myself as creating art as much as capturing life, sometimes ad nauseam.

Working with:
Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera mostly using the standard EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens. Recently got the very crisp and clean 50mm f/1.8.

Photoshop CS4 for Windows Vista 64 bit*
Sony Vaio (4g RAM, ATI Radeon graphics at 1080p).

I'm already planning future purchases.

*I typically only crop, reorient, or do light color-correction to photos. I seldom do more, but will try to mention in the description when I do.

Locations:
I try to geotag most everything as accurately as possible. If you're interested in my local hikes, I have some of them mapped on Google.
