Joined Flickr when I was taking pics with a mobile phone camera ('07), then bought a Canon G9 ('08) ... still snapping away with no sense of theme although most images are from Edinburgh/Scotland with specific events providing a focus (the Edinburgh festivals, Beltane)... As for the pics, if they attract fewer than ten views in the first ten days after they're posted, then I delete them. If they attract fewer than 20 views over three months, ditto. This means the residual content of my photostream, over time, is determined by viewers rather than solely by my judgement.
When I am grown-up/less poor I'll buy a digital SLR, meanwhile the G9 has to do...
Point of etiquette: if you favourite any of my pics, it only seems polite to allow me access to your photostream. Seeing that an image has been favourited, clicking through to the person who marked that status then finding "nothing is available to you" just seems plain rude sometimes ...
