Hi there. I took my first photography class, a film black and white class, back when I was unemployed. I'm still playing around, figuring out what kinds of images I enjoy making.

In between work and ocassional photography classes, I run the food blog kitchenchick.com, write restaurant reviews for www.ecurrent.com, and am a contributor-blogger for annarbor.com.

I use a Nikon D90 (as of July 2009) or a D70 with the D70 kit lens, a 28-200mm telephoto, 50mm f1.4 prime lens, or a macro lens. Sometimes I shoot with a Speedlight SB-800, though the kinds of images I tend to take don't call for it.
