Hi, I'm Courtney Zepeda-Hawkes. I have been doing make-up for 17 years. I started out in salons and retail, but decided I needed more creative work and started freelancing , doing make-up and hair, in 1999. I worked for the first Sephora in the States in NYC and I have trained with over 35 cosmetic companies. I am also trained as a henna tattoo artist and have 11 years of experience under my belt.

I am available for print, film and event work.

My body painting/henna tattoo work has been featured in the Sundance Film Festival movie titled Chutney Popcorn, Essence Magazine, Heart & Soul Magazine, Paper Magazine and I was interviewed for the New York Times regarding my work. More of my work has been featured on the Howard Stern show, Sabado Gigante, Entertainment Tonight, E's VideoFashion Weekly and Wilke-Rodriguez's Men's Fashion Show in Spring 1999.

I attended the Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, PA. And completed my degree at UNC-Greensboro.
