I'm a mom, a professional, a friend, a wife and a bit of a mess. I discovered Flickr a bit late, but not too late, and I have been using it mostly for posting pictures of our everyday lives away from our families.

Therefore, I keep most of my photos private, so if you have received an invitation to look at them, please, use this right wisely. No more crowds and weirdos 'cause life is simply too short and too special to open up space to annoyance. I guess most people I know will agree with me.

I still feel much more comfortable writting in Portuguese, even though I have been for many years abroad. I love my language and, if I may be as honest as full of myself, I am pretty good at it. But both of our families and pool of friends do check us out here, so I have to try to meet everyone's needs and that's why you may find some different languages on picture descpritions and comments.

I currently live close to Geneva, Switzerland, but actually live right accross the border, in France (I know, I know...). I am married to a Dutchman, from that country, Dutchland. :o) We have a son and a daughter; for the French it is le choix du roi; or the king's choice. We are not royalty, but we do have our private kingdom and these two little people have certainly been ruling our lives - sometimes more than we had wished for. We have two dogs (pugs) that are currently on a long-term vacation with my in-laws and no expected date of final and definite return, although they do come a lot to visit.

All my family still lives in Brazil, and I go as often as I can (that means at least once a year). Lots os pictures are also of those encounters. Have fun and be wise.
