"A fellow Canadian with a great eye (and a very strange cold loving dog). ginnia is the type of person that makes me proud to be Canadian (I can't be proud that I am also an American any more, George W. Bush spoiled that)."

"I used to think that flower photos were bland and boring until I met GINNIA. She is a GeNious for photos! She also was kind enough to make me an admin in the group that I was admin in about 90 minutes before I got ousted and she got made admin. That's some pretty cool stuff.

On a serious note, each time I visit her photostream I become lost, absorbed. Her eye is inGeNious and her aim even better. I'm glad to know her!"

"I thought prairies were quite dull, flat and boring places, then I found my now good friend, ginnia's stream :)
She brings it all to life with a great sense of humour, fabulous photographic and compositional skill and with a wonderful eye for detail...(and dragons!)...
The recent addition of the lovely 'Sharon' to her household has added yet another dimension to this daily compelling flickr stream for us all to enjoy."

"Virginia definitely has "the eye" -- that rare ability to capture in unique and beautiful form those aspects of landscapes the rest of us all-too-easily take for granted or miss entirely. I'm sure her stunning photos have already opened the eyes of more than a few who hold preconceived notions of Saskatchewan. And I hope she will keep 'em coming."

    TomLA says:

"Many of us have never been to Saskatchewan, but Virginia has taken us there.

She has taken us to the great wide open prairie where the world meets the sky.
She has taken us out in the fields where the dragons fly.
She has taken us for a ride on her bicycle and to look at the moon.
She has taken us to a yellow crab spider on a sunflower before noon.

And if that weren’t enough for us all to repose,
she even chased down a porcupine and coaxed him to pose.
If you’re new to her stream and never been here before,
then kick back your feet and take some time to explore.

    Thank you, Virginia."
