I am a life long Cub fan...[insert humorus cut-down here] but I know that next year is the year!



I am an aspiring photographer. I shoot with a Nikon D70, 24-120 VR, sb-800 speedlight, and two softbox strobes in my basement studio. I have recently sold my consumer lenses and am in the process of upgrading the quality of my gear.

JULY 2007 UPDATE: I have purchased the 70-200VR, a 50mm 1.4, and the awesome 17-55. I have opted to avoid the 18-200 (and the wait) for now and delay the 12-24. I have most of the lenses I want now and will concentrate on upgrading my camera body and starting a backup collection for my wife to assist me on weddings. The D200 continues to be a dream but I am considering skipping that upgrade and waiting for the replacement to the D200 or opt for a D2x when the newest Nikon comes out (hopefully later this year).
