Based in Gibraltar, Europe i am semi-professinonal photographer who has worked across Europe and the Caribbean. My main styles of photography is Architecture and Landscape, but i have been known to do a few portraits photo-shoots of female models which examples of can be seen in the archives of this website.

My real interest in photography started at the early age of 17 when i used to attend and photograph modified car shows in spain. Using my first digital compact camera (epsilon 1.3 megapixel) this interest in cars and photography soon developed into modified car clubs with their own websites known as gibspeed and gibtuning.

In 1999 i purchased my first SLR camera and lens (Canon EOS 300) which really taught me about photography and how cameras work. Admittedly i mostly shot in green mode at the time as apertures and shutter speeds were new to me.

I later started reading photography books to further my understanding of photography, this then led to me buying my first digital SLR, the Canon EOS 350D in 2005. from this point on i was hooked and started buying L series lenses and new camera bodies such as the Canon EOS 30D and lately the Canon EOS 40D.

    Keira Vallejo Photography says:

"Steve is one of the most talented photographers in Gibraltar. He has a very broad shooting range, encompassing landscapes, macro, beautiful portraiture and journalistic style photography. His winning personality makes him a hit with the female models he so often takes pictures of. It doesn't even matter that he has almost as much equipment as WENN, Rex and Retna put together, he would probably still take just as good photos with a pinhole camera."

    Paul Vallejo says:

"Steve is a big man with a big character that transfers well to his photography. Some of his best work can be described as the exact opposite of Platon; extremely long focal distances instead of very wide angles producing fantastic images time and time again."
