G.C. shoots with digital cameras, as well as with 35mm and medium format films. He develops and prints his work in his own darkroom.

In the continuous search for beauty, over the years G.C. refined his technique and developed a personal style characterized by vivid colors, wide, almost cinematographic views, and creative juxtapositions. When natural details are portrayed, his style is as delicate as his subjects.

One of his most prominent strengths lies in his surprising ability to capture snippets of reality from unexpected, unconventional and yet revealing perspectives.

In his recent work on Japan, he depicts people and places with deep appreciation for otherness, thoroughly representing the immense architectural and natural variety found in modern, yet tradition-bound societies such as the Japanese.
