About me: I am a mixed media artist living in Christchurch, New Zealand. On Flickr I like to showcase my creative interests, including recent artworks, cooking and gardening. My cat Lui also pops in from time to time. About my art: The materials I work with range from pen and ink, collage and watercolour to fabric, fibres and found objects. Right now my main inspirations are crochet and fibre arts, learning to paint, drawing, scribbling and recycling scraps. I enjoy making interactive pieces such as mini books, folding sculptures and freestanding ornaments. I seek to find beauty in odd and absurd places and try to convey that in my work.
