Don't take life too seriously and enjoy every day as if it were the last one!



For my english speaking friends:
I use to call myself a "documenting snapshooter". Anyway, I dare to make my shots public here on Flickr...:-)
I'm talking German, English, Norwegian, some Italian and some Dutch.
I have some roots in both Norway, Germany and Italy. Together with my partner (we are proud to be in a same-sex partnership in more than 32 years.) After some years living in Italy we now have returned to my hometown Celle in Germany.
I’m working as a consultant in the flower branch and I’m also qualified as a social worker and tourism manager.

My shots will give You a skim to some of my interests and my view to the world. I'm using a Canon 1000 D. For processing I use photoshop, but I always prefer to show a subject as I have seen it in the moment of the click :-)

For me my photostream is like a diary, telling a stories of specific moments. Therefore you'll find no series or variations of a special subject. If you want to see more, you have to ask :-)

... everybody who want's to add me as a contact or friend should know that I'm a philanthropist. I like people as they are not as they would like to be. And remember, 'friends' should have something common :-) But first of all, show honest shots from real life and we'll be good Flickr-friends :-)

I like the photos of my Flickr friends best if they have an appeal to my sense of humor, are well designed, technically perfect and well composed, or when they have a special story to tell... so please do not be disappointed if I’m a bit reluctant with comments :-)…

It's also possible to become a member of my "family". But before that I want to be a little better acquainted with you ... let's talk about it!

Für meine deutsch sprechenden Freunde
Ich würde mich selbst als dokumentierenden Knipser bezeichnen, aber trotztdem wage ich es mal, einen Teil meiner Bilder hier bei Flickr einzustellen.

In Celle (D) geboren und aufgewachsen, nach Studium in Bremen in Haseldorf gelandet, dann 15 Jahre in Oslo (N) und anschließend 10 Jahre in Amsterdam (NL) gelebt und gearbeitet. Nach einigen Jahren Aufenthalt und Arbeit in Italien sind wir jetzt in meine Heimatstadt Celle zurückgekehrt.
Berufe: Sozialpädagoge, Kaufmann (Schnittblumen Ex- und Import), norwegischer "Reiselivskoordinator" (Tourismusmanager) Sprachen: Deutsch, Norwegisch, Englisch, Italienisch (wenig), Niederländisch (wenig) Interessen: Foto, Geschichte, Politik, Pfadfinder, Rad- und Fußwanderungen.

Für alle, die es interessiert: Seit 32 Jahren lebe ich mit dem selben Mann zusammen.

Zu meinen Fotos: in der Regel benutze ich eine Canon 1000D, habe aber meistens auch eine Olympus SP 560-UZ dabei. Ausschnitt- Filter- und Farbkorrekturen mache ich mit Photoshop, bin sonst aber eher dafür, ein Motiv so zu zeigen, wie ich es im Moment der Aufnahme gesehen habe.

Ich betrachte die Bilder meines Photostreams als eine Art Tagebuch. Sie erzählen die Geschichte eines besonderen Moments, daher gibt es nur selten Serien oder Variationen eines speziellen Motivs. Wer mehr sehen möchte, muss fragen :-)... Die ganz privaten Bilder bleiben meinen Freunden und den Mitgliedern meiner kleinen "Familie" vorbehalten...

Wer mich als 'Freund' oder 'Kontakt' seiner Liste hinzufügen möchte, sollte wissen, dass ich ein Menschenfreund bin und die Menschen mag, wie sie sind und nicht, wie sie gern sein wollen. Und, denkt daran: Freunde sollten etwas gemeinsam haben ;-)... wir können ja mal darüber sprechen...

Die Bilder meiner Flickr-Freunde gefallen mir dann besonders gut, wenn sie einen Apell an meinen Sinn für Humor haben, gut geschnitten, technisch perfekt und komponiert sind oder eine besondere Geschichte erzählen...daher bitte nicht enttäuscht sein, wenn ich mit Kommentaren etwas zurückhaltend bin :-)
