Gerry Ward's photostream  

Gerry Ward lives in Belfast and has a keen interest in all things to do with Belfast. He is particularly interested in local history. His photostream has loads of images of transport of all sorts, both modern and historic. He also has an appreciation for good architecture.

His first camera was a Zenit E, a Russian-built, 35 mm, semi-automatic camera with built-in light meter. This served well for many years until it developed a ‘lazy shutter’.

He then bought a Canon IX-7 and through time bought a few lenses - Canon 22-55mm, Canon 28-80mm and Canon 75-300mm lenses together with a Crystal Vision 0.45x Wide Angle Converter and Futin 2.0x Teleconverter. He also has a Canon EOS IX.

Gerry Ward entered the digital age through a Nikon Coolpix 3700 - which is a handy little camera although limited.

He has since bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, equivalent to the 400D.

He converts APS film to digital using a Fujifilm AS-1 Film Scanner on Adobe Photoshop.
