Dr. Missy Tasky is a native of Virginia, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Animal Science in 1986. She then went on to Auburn University and graduated with a Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She relocated to Denver after graduation, and spent the first four years of her career as an emergency room doctor. The next five years were spent managing a small animal clinic. She established Gentle Touch Animal Hospital in October of 2000, and has been busy expanding the practice ever since. Her areas of interest include dentistry, ophthalmology, and management. She is a member of several veterinary societies, including the American Veterinary Dental Society. She has also served on the Board of the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society. When she is not busy with veterinary medicine, she enjoys skiing, wine tasting, traveling, and spending time with her dog and cat, and family and friends.
