    Katherine de León says:

"So let me tell you about this man and how amazing his brain is. I purchased his Broken Heart Robot back in ... umm ... don't remember. I got the autographed box, and I cherish it to this day.

I went back to Kid Robot a week later to buy that same BHR in glow, clear, and white. Low and behold, Kid Robot was sold out! *gasp* I then searched far and wide on the internets, deep in the tubes, for more BHRs, but there were none to be found. *little tear* Alas, I finally resigned myself, disappointed and disaffected, to the fact that the Broken Heart Robot was gone. ("Sold out?" I stuttered. "NOOOOOOO!") I would not have him in glow. I would not have him in clear. I would not have him in white either. I sobbed and lamented the end of an era.

So I did the next best thing to purchasing the Broken Heart Robot in the remaining colors. I became him. While working for Linden Lab, I posted in my Second Life profile that the Broken Heart Robot was my little obsession and that if anyone saw him in glow, clear, or white to please contact me immediately. I would pay anything. And then one day, some nice teenager in Teen Second Life took pity on me and decided to make me a BHR in Second Life out of sculpted prims. I had never seen such an avatar, and I rejoiced (despite the copyright infringement, which genshi, please don't persecute or prosecute me for).

Before I was presented with the Broken Heart Robot avatar in Second Life, I was known far and wide as a notorious avatar tart. I changed avatars like the wind, never considering how they might feel, never appreciating them for longer than a day. But after wearing my BHR avatar for just one little minute, I was smitten. To this day, I have yet to take him off. That avatar reformed this little SL tart, and I'll never stray again.

I love you, Broken Heart Robot. I may only have you in blue, but for the versions of you that I lack in real life (cause you were sold out, you lil meanie), I make up for in my Second Life.

I love your brain, genshi. The Broken Heart Robot actually changed my life ... so fucking weird, but really true. So thanks. I think that's the appropriate way to express gratitude. :)"
