Mother of four, have camera, eyes, heart,
instruction book and a head to scratch.

In the 90s I had an OM-10 and several lenses. I really loved black and white film back then, but really was a complete green and most of my films were discarded. I got a digital about four years ago and was so pleased with it as a 'snapshot' camera but it really was terribly unreliable with colour and tone. My son banged it against the stair bannister and I think it was a blessing in the long run. My lovely husband bought me an EOS 350D 18 months ago, the kit lens was an EFS 18-55 which is a good lens but I'm starting to feel I want something extra. I'm saving for an 85mm prime. I'm a real beginner and trying to learn something every time I used the camera. I see some fabulously accomplished photographers on flickr and it seems the more I look the more I have to learn. I intend to enjoy the process. All constructive criticism is welcome, but being pointlessly mean will make me feel sad (for both of us) so please don't do that.

btw.
