1. Lawyer by profession - dropped it to setup a web-design firm called ICON (www.icon.com.mt)

2. Live on a warm tiny island in the Med called MALTA (www.visitmalta.com) and miss the snow so much.

3. Crazy about photography. Practice martial arts to keep me sane. Swim 3KM once a week and run for 2KM.

4. Play guitar and love travelling. Would have liked to paint for a living but I turned out to be rather bad at that.

5. Very passionate about Italian food and good books. Recently bought a 400 year old house in Valletta and this became my 365 project.... I'm at it everyday ;)

SHORT (photographic) PROFILE :

Gege Gatt has many callings but only one true vocation: photography. His photography oozes decades of experience behind the lens, but the way he captures an instance and sees stories in the everyday around us comes from his ever youthful instinct and inquisitive eye. Gege is a Getty Images contributor, a leader of Malta’s FLICKRISTI group and a member of the Malta Institute of Professional Photography.

Gege has exhibited in Nanjing (China), Lavandou (France) as well as several local exhibitions across Malta and Gozo. He has co-authored and contributed to a 2009 book on Seascapes and was commissioned to shoot an album cover for Transtechnica Records (Santiago, Chile). He has several e-books amongst which an eclectic collection of images from Australia and New Zealand (http://www.blurb.com/books/1750749)

Online, his photos have been published by the BBC, Saatchi & Saatchi, Bang & Olufsen, Canon, University of Toronto Magazine, International Music Network and several other printed and online galleries and publications.
