I bought a Canon EOS 500D in 2009 and enrolled on an introduction to Digital Photography Course in Cardiff through www.ffotogallery.org/. I subsequently completed an intermediate level course through the same company. I still consider myself very much a beginner and appreciate any advice, feedback, comments and criticism anyone provides.

I enjoy travelling and photography has given me another excuse to travel to new Cities and destinations around the World. In addition to photography I enjoy the great outdoors – surfing, snowboarding, cycling and walking. I can’t live without music, surround myself in books and enjoy a Beer or two and causing the occasional bit of trouble.

Along with the kit lens 18 – 55mm, I also have a Tamron Telezoom 70 – 300mm lens, a Canon 1.4 50mm lens, and a Sigma Wide-angled lens 10 – 20mm. I use Lightroom 2 to edit my photographs. And occasionally Photoshop, although I really don't know what I am doing.
