I was introduced to photography by my high school art teacher back in the '70's, and after a quick 10 minute lesson on my dad's manual 35mm camera I was off on my own. Joining the school photo club enabled me to develop my own black and white prints and found it magical watching my prints develop before my eyes. Today I shoot mainly with a digital Nikon, but I enjoy experimenting with a variety of other types of cameras (Diana F+ plastic camera) and lenses (lensbaby) and using various techniques such as through-the-viewfinder (ttv).

It's been almost 3 years since I've joined Flickr and during that time I've seen some amazing work by fellow members and have been inspired by them.
