I am a writer living in Portland with my husband the architect, and my three wonderful children, Lola, Darwin & Jasmin. Yes, I know they’re cats. But, they are still my babies.

Important facts about me: I fall down a lot. The architect often says to me: “Babe, you are so graceful…graceful like a gazelle…ON CRACK!” (guess what the inspiration for my site name was?) I love reading & writing & am generally a very, very lazy person.

I love architects, and nearly wet myself the day that I was in Frank Gehry’s office, even though I did not actually see Frank himself. However, I do love my architect the most. He’s very smart, and handsome, and talented, and someday he will win the Pritzker Prize, and you cannot have him. So there!

I love cheese, Sapphire martinis with olives, and black high heels. I hate driving in LA, stupid people, and having a job.
