Well, I've been a Flickrite for over 6 years now, and I think it's fair to say that it has changed my life. When I was younger I fancied myself an artist, but my dreams never really materialized...I veered way off course.
The advent of digital photography, and my discovery of Flickr has re-awakened my desire to create a visual interpretation of the world around me! I'm not the photographer I want to be yet, but I'm learning from all my FlickrFriends almost on a daily basis.
I look at photography as capturing moments in time that will never be seen again...such a wonderful power to wield!!! Sometimes it makes me so giddy I could just poop myself!!!!!!...^+^
