Who can resist the earnestly corny illustrations c. 1930-1960? They are appealing or terrifying, and sometimes they're both. My wife Annie and I live in a suburb of Seattle. I am a teacher. I enjoy reading, walking, working on the house and yard,and I really dig hepcats from the bepop era of jazz.
