Hello.

I have a lot of photos. Most of them aren't anything worth writing home about. I've created a couple sets to lump my best stuff into more handlable groupings:

My most favorited photos:

You can probably tell more about me by looking at my pictures than at my profile. Besides, there's really not much to say.

Photography's been a serious hobby of mine for a few years now. While I'm amateurishly ignorant about many technical things, I've learned quite a bit.

I usually prefer to shoot relatively naturalistic photos - catching things doing what they do out in the world. There's a lot of travel photography too.

Thanks for viewing.

And Dr USP is the Joel McHale of it all."

"USP - it's an abbreviation on medecines and all sorts of things - and every time I see it now I think of Chris.

This is because A.) He's memorable. A sharp, fast wit that is always hitting the nail on the head, and sometimes more than a little wicked. In a GOOD way. I can't believe how many evil giggles I've had thanks to his photostream. He's a funny guy.

And B.) because he's really, really, really awesome at that photography thing that we all like doing on Flickr. His portraiture and self-shots are awesome beyond words, and his other work is always unique, and really fresh, like chips out of newly-opened the bag. (Weird metaphor, I know, but I can't help it.) So he's funny AND he's really, really cool.

He's cool. He's funny. He's a good guy. Yes, he is."

"chris is one of my favorite people in this flickrverse. it's not just his obvious and profound talent that gets me; he's also funny as hell -- the smart, irreverent, piercing kind of funny that makes you laugh out loud, sitting alone in your office.

then there's his underlying sweetness and honesty, which i find incredibly endearing. he's willing to laugh at himself and the world around him. the rest of us could take a lesson from him on that.

so really, it's the jumble of all these things that keeps me coming back, eager to see what he comes up with next. he's an artist in the truest sense, taking the time to look for -- and share with all of us -- the beauty hidden in every little thing."

    My bet is on 'may'."

"Nom De Plume: Mr. Stopping Point, Most Universal

Distinguishing Characteristic: Smells of Cinnamon and the Ethereal Joy you Once Felt as a Child but have since Forgotten.

Methods: Will make you waste away the hours in petrified awe with things he captures in his lenses.

Be Warned: If confronted by Mr. Point, it is best not to look directly at him lest ye be blinded by his radiance. Alert the authorities at once, because they've been dying to have an actual good portrait taken of them for some time."

"I'm constantly impressed by the beauty that Chris brings to otherwise boring objects or places. I sometimes wish I could get in that brain o' his and see how he sees things. His skill really blows me away and I seriously think he's the most talented photographer I personally know. I think he's a pretty swell online and offline friend!"

"You called me a drag queen and expressed your love for me all in the matter of a week, therefore you earned yourself a testimonial. I love looking at your pictures and your comments on mine always make me laugh. Since we're getting married and all, I decided a published list of the great qualities of "the love of my life" is only natural.

I think you're a great guy and i'm glad we met, especially through such a liberal photo. I find at least two of your pictures on every page that makes me laugh out loud or smile to myself. Not too many people can do that. I raise my glass to you. I'll see you at the alter, Universal.

    Stay cool...and liberal.
    :D"

""Universal Stopping Point" - hmmmm I didn't get it - until I found myself getting lost in his photos over and over again. Chris's self portraits will either Wow you or make you laugh until you pee. And on top of that, the way he portrays the world around him makes you feel like you are a part of something special.

While life is rushing past you, his photos compel you to slow down, stop for a minute and take a second look - It is a Universal Stopping Point indeed."

"Chris is my most favorite photostream on flickr. He is funny, irreverent and always very interesting. He really gets around and does things and does a superb job of telling a story with pictures.

Also he's got almost 7 super hot girlfriends that always find themselves in front of his lens.

Now if he could just get them to sit on a cake."
