Name: Leigh Garner

What is your photographic experience and your current level of expertise? Had some sort of film point & shoot most of my adult life but took little interest beyond pointing & shooting!. Moved to digital in late 2003, again with a point & shoot but this fuelled my enthusiasm and I moved to DSLR in July 2008. Still got heaps to learn, but understand the basics of ISO, Shutter speed and Aperture.

What are your photographic ambitions/goals? To develop my photographic skills and creativity, mainly for my own satisfaction but hopefully also for the pleasure of others.

What are your specific photographic areas of interest? (Landscape, Portraiture etc.) Most really at the moment until (or if) I find my own style, but at the moment particularly...Landscape, urban & candid portrait. *Update Sept 2008. Oh and Seascapes, definitely Seascapes.*

What areas are you knowledgeable (printing, web images, composition etc.) Well none photographic wise....but know my around PC's (not the funny Apple kind), most things internet, Flickr, Picasa and a bit of Web Design. Currently learning my way around PhotoshopLightroom.

What photographic equipment do you use?
Sony a350 with the 18-70mm kit lens**Update Mar 2009: Replaced with Sony Carl Zeiss 16-80 F3.5-4.5 (SAL-1680CZ). **Update Sep 2008: and a Sony 50mm 1.4** **Update Oct 2008 and a Minolta 70-210 F4 'Beercan' **
