The only professional Hispanic arts organization in Washington, D.C., GALA (Grupo Artistas Latinoamericanos) was established to preserve and promote Hispanic culture in the U.S., while sharing this rich heritage with the general public through a varied performing arts program. GALA has developed and nurtures a professional Hispanic theatre company of bi-lingual artists, and trains young and emerging multicultural artists through performance opportunities, workshops, touring, cultural exchanges and internships.
