This is about all there is...
I'm different. It's an obvious matter. I don't quite fit into what most people call normal society. I have a wildly creative imagination, and love to think for myself. I am diverse. You certainly won't find anyone like me anywhere else... and I've very recently come to realize how much I should appreciate that. I like to use my head, and I think way too much about anything,...and everything. I love poetry, trees, art, clouds, what clouds could hide behind them, trains, antique things, vintage things, and anything that might help me escape reality. I do not like reality. Most people can't even determine the difference between what's real, and what's in their head, but I can, and I much prefer to live in my head. I like run on sentences, literature, describing things, researching things, music, and having a random train of thought. I should not have been born in this era and often wish I were from another time, but if it were not for when I was born, I would not be who I am. I like to dream. At least during the day, when I'm supposed to be paying attention and all. Did I mention I adore poetry?...and getting flowers. Lilies, or orchids. I don't like roses much. I love being surprised, pleasantly, anyhow.
I like the stars, I like reading into the stars... and staring into them. I often find myself gazing longingly into nothing, wishing for something. I have a lot of holes... and I'm rather broken, but I've learned to lift myself out of that... or at least I'm learning.
I'm young, but I feel ancient. I've never felt older... I didn't want to grow up, but have; only in the sense of being responsible for my actions... I will always have the heart of a child, and I believe no one can take that from me. I dare them to try.
I like elegant things, exquisite things. Like lace, and wine, and as mentioned before, antiques. I like feeling elegant, I hate the word "pretty", and prefer beautiful, or words with more descriptive intent. I like things that are dainty, and fragile, and generally feel fragile, but not so dainty. I'm a klutz, Clumsy in every way possible. I don't like people who speak with a lack of intelligence, as a matter of a fact, it pisses me off. I would much rather carry on an intellectual conversation, than talk about how "on a scale of one to ten, that guy's ass is a twenty"....That makes me want to vomit just thinking about it. I like accents, and language, and linguistics. I have a serious addiction to the internet and looking up random things that will probably never do me a whole lot of good, but it's what I do. I believe expanding your knowledge and learning can never end, and I supposedly have an IQ of 140. *shrugs*
I'm in the Navy as a Fire Controlman (aka, weapons system technician, no i don't fight fires). Thanks partially to being in the Navy, I finally know who I am, after a lifetime of searching. I've finally learned to control my emotions, and to be the very best damn Me I can be. I like to take care of people. And as you can see, I like to ramble, and this was typed as I would have spoken it. I hope you enjoyed.
