I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to the US in 1973. I have been shooting picture since 1977 and my first SLR was a Fuji. I saved enough money to buy my first Canon (AE1 programmer). I stopped taking picture in the mid’s 80's and just got back into the digital world March 08 and purchased a Canon XTI kit. If I knew what I know now about digital camera, I would have brought just a Canon body and build on it. I am so overwhelm to see how far technology has come in the digital photography and I love it all. Just brought myself the Canon 50 D and the 100 – 400 mm IS prime telephoto lens for Fathers Day.
UPDATE: I am now shooting with a 7D as my main camera and a 50D as my back up camera, yes. I traded the xti, kind of outgrow it.
