My partner Debi and I are in the process of turning a 1940's-era church into a home. This involves hand-building an interior into what was essentially an empty box using the least expensive and most thermally efficient construction methods we can come up with. Consequently, many of the photos you'll find here show walls of raw building materials and unfinished rooms and projects. We purchased the building and land in July of 2006 for the proverbial song and hope to be sort of / kind of "done" by mid 2012.
