As a photographer I intend my images to tell stories, to connect people through these images to places, people, and things they may have never imagined. What touches me most about photography is the ability to explore, to discover, to imagine simply from observing the still images captured at a specific moment in time. I’m always curious about what moves people, what empowers them, and what they are passionate about. I hope that my photography invokes the same curiosity in others…that is it makes them curious, imaginative, and passionate in their own self-expression. My photography seeks to tell a story that has people connect and look beyond the first impression. It engages them to create a connection across generations, cultures, gender, and spirit.
Ultimately, I feel my role is that of a storyteller, communicating stories of people, places, and ideas through my lens.
