Self-taught amatur photographer who caught the bug approx 5 years ago. First digital camera was a 2MP Toshiba. Used a bunch of Point & shoots until 2007, when I got a Nikon D40 with 18-55 lens and SB-40 flash. Never looked back since. There's always something new to learn and I enjoy browsing flickrstreams & meeting fellow photo-enthusiasts online.

Current equipment set (for fellow hardware geeks):
Camera:
- Nikon D200

Lenses
- Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 AF-S (sharpest kit lens ever made by Nikon, my default lens)
- Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF-D
- Nikkor Q 135mm f/2.8 MF AI-converted
- Sigma 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6 HSM EX DG (latest lens purchase at B&H)
- Sigma 70-210mm f/4-5.6 AF-D UC-II

Flash
- 2x Nikon Sb-600

    McPreachy says:

"Ah Leo... where to start? he's advanced so far in such a short space of time! already you can see that he has a distinctive style; the 'desolate' shots are especially noteworthy as they give a provocative contrast from the otherwise colourful landscape.
the new camera has certainly proved to be a valuable tool in his arsenal, as has his newl honed talent with digital photo editting.
we're all looking forward to his pics from the UK, i'm sure the new location will give him inspiration to develop even further!

    excellent work dude,looking great :-)"
