Actually, there is no moment at all; it's a phantom, which was invented by the people to give time a special measure: the shortest conceivable part that we are aware of just yet, the first reflection of eternity in time, its first attempt.
  
  But the idea with its suddenness and sharpness it can take as little as to the language with their linear progress. For always the moment is already passed, if you want to get hold of it you will immediately find yourself already in the next one. Moments can be remembered in the best case, but it will then go another, transformed, mutilated, incomplete, lost in the distance because some elements and the contours are blurred.
  
  Your photography is making a light that could never be experienced before. Your Photography is a wonderful moment. As such, it brings a little movement in our picture of the world, and the photographic pose of contemplation seems to us as a particle of past life.

  "the first time i came across Alex's "pebbles", i was hooked. how could i not? i have never seen anyone capture pebbles and make them look ethereal. of course, that was only the start. his "pencils stories" set is one i would go back to every now and again. and lately his magical, bokehlicious images which have graced Flickr's Explore page have me feeling a sense of regret that i have not had the chance to visit his stream as often as i can these last few months. but i take comfort in the thought that i can always come back to his stream when i need a jolt of magic and inspiration. and for that i am most grateful to you, Alex. thank you for unselfishly sharing the beauty of even the simplest of things as seen through your eyes.
