Fun Day Out is an anual event in Southern Scotland for children (and their immediate families) with a life threatening illness. Our most important aim of the day is to enable the attendees to enjoy themselves in an exciting and safe environment and provide fun and entertainment for all. One of the highlights of the day is a procession of Porsche cars around the East Lothian area. The drivers of these cars each take one sick child with them and the tour starts and ends at an outdoor venue on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

After the parade, on arrival back at the departure point, there is entertainment for all, including a playground for the younger guest, games, a live band, and plenty of food and drink.

The day lasts from approximately 11:00am in the morning till 5:00pm in the afternoon and culminates in an awards ceremony.
