I have a doctorate in applied maths, which I am putting to no use whatsoever by teaching English in Suzhou, about an hour west of Shanghai, China.

I quite like these ones of mine:

















My photos are published here on Flickr with clearly-defined usage rights. But if you'd like to use any of them for purposes other than those defined by the existing rights, all you need to do is contact me and ask for my permission, and I'll very likely be happy to grant it, providing higher-resolution copies as required.

Many of my photos are already available for purchase as prints at RedBubble.

My current usage of Flickr's Contact-Friend-Family system:

If I've mark you as a contact, then you've probably got me as a contact, I've checked out your photos and they look nice, and I'm returning the kind gesture.

If I've marked you as a friend, then I very much like your photos and want to be automagically informed when you post new ones.

If I've marked you as family, then I very much like your photos, want the automagic informing thing, and our relationship exists beyond the realms of Flickr to some extent.
