Apparently, my original profile left a lot to be desired. Since more than one person has asked me to change it, I figure the marketplace of ideas has spoken. Here we go.

What do I like? I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. I like making love at midnight in the dunes of the cape. I like big butts, and I can not lie. Yeah, baby, I like it like that.

Speaking of which, did you know that some like it hot? And some sweat when the heat is on?

Specifically, what do I like about you? I like that you hold me tight. I like that you tell me all the things that I like to hear. And that you really know how to dance. I like the way you kiss me when we're playing the kissing game.

I'm not into yoga or health food; I am into champagne.

Truthfully, though, I get no kick from champagne. Mere alcohol doesn't thrill me at all.

MY TRAVELS: I've never been to Spain, and I've never been to me. I've been to New York, London, Paris, Munich, and everyone talked about pop music. I've been around the world, and I can't find my baby. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere.

I was with Rikki when she lost that number and the boys when they lost their religion. If I ever lose my faith in you, I'd simply be a lonesome loser. A beautiful loser, but a loser nonetheless.

What kind of jobs have I had? Well, I've been a private dancer, a dancer for money, and any old music would do. I've been on Mexican radio. I've wang chunged. I've had fun. I've got my love to keep me warm. I've been blinded by the light, and I've seen the light. I've been loving you too long, and I've never been in love before. I've been working in a coal mine. Basically, I work hard for the money. So hard for it, honey.

What do I want? I wanna rock and roll all night, and party every day. I wanna be your lover, the only one to let you down. I really wanna know you. I only wanna be with you. I wanna be a cowboy, and I wanna sex you up.

I want to thank you, and I want to take you higher. I want to hold your hand, and I want to kiss you all over. Mostly, though, I want a new drug. One that won't make me sick. One that won't make me crash my car or make the feel three feet thick. We want the funk!

Just kidding. Really, I want candy. I want it all, and I want it now.

And, yes, I really want to hurt you. I really want to make you cry.

What are a few of my favorite things? Let's see. I've got a golden ticket. I've got the world on a string, and I've got you under my skin. I've got news for you: I've just seen a face. I got rhythm. I got it bad (and that ain't good). I got my mojo working, and I've got plenty o' nuttin'. I've got the magic touch. I've got a brand new bag, and we've got the beat.

Who cares about me? How about my philosophy regarding my photos? I don't edit, filter, or "Shop" my photos and continue to call them photos, other than cropping or turning them Black & White. Okay, once in a while, my wife wants one as a sepia tone. I can't say no. Other than that, I just take pictures. [Chris' Note: I have recently decided to amend this bit of dogma. I've fallen in love with messing with the Contrast, Stauration, etc., as a way to bring out colors in some of my nature shots. It really seems to be no different from the HDR photos I've been seeing. I'm not adding or subtracting any elements. I'm still not Photoshopping anything into or out of my pictures, though.] Not everything I upload is here for its artistic value. Some of it's here just because it's fun. (If you don't still call the digitally manipulated picture a "photo," that's fine. Just don't tell me it's a photo when you've done so much enhancing on it that you know very well that it's past being a photo anymore.)

As you'll notice, my subjects tend to repeat. That's because I've only taken up photography in the last year and a half. However, over the last year, I've been unable to drive. So, I take pictures of what is around my house or what I see when I go to family dinners.

Also, I really do want to get better at taking pictures. Not necessarily manipulating them. (I want to learn how to be good at taking them before I really edit them. If not, I'm afraid that I'll use editing tools as a crutch. After I feel comfortable taking them, then I'll learn to 'Shop them.) So, constructive criticism is welcome. Remember, though, I am working with what is essentially a point-and-shoot camera, a Kodak C875. I've been mighty impressed with what it can do, and I've learned some tricks with it. However, it is still only what it is. (Sometimes, you'll see that I use a C613. That's my it-can-go-anywhere-and-it-doesn't-matter-if-I-lose-it camera. It's a step or three below the C875.) I don't think the camera matters, though. I am looking for technical criticism.

If you're not sure if you'll hurt my feelings, don't worry about it. I am a writer, a songwriter, and a husband. I've learned how to take it.
