I have taken photos as far back as I can remember. I have always had an artistic side, and from a very young age I have looked at the world differently. I have tried to explain that difference through my photography, as well as my poetry. I am a hillbilly that God gave this special ability to for some odd reason - the ability to paint with a camera.
Back in 2004 I decided to make my passion a career, when I discovered I could "write poetry with a camera", and have enjoyed every minute of it.
My wife over the years has learned to deal with, and even enjoy those frantic "Stop the car!" moments, and without her I could never be my true self. I enjoy most types of photography including portraits, but I am known for and am at my most creative with my artistic photography, that includes people and objects.
Virginia is where I call home.
I am still amazed that people like my work, and I hope you enjoy it as well!
I am sorry if I don't always reciprocate your contact, but being on dial up my contacts photos can be overwhelming and I do enjoy looking at them all, so please don't be offended if I don't add you.
I also want to say im sorry about the "Size" of the shots I upload, I am cursed with dial up so a 8 or 12 meg shot would take me quite awhile to upload. The big versions are always on my website @ www.frommyhandphotography.com
